School Events 2024-2025

Clapgate Christmas Disco

On Wednesday 11th December 2024, we hosted our annual Christmas Disco. Children enjoyed dancing to the music played by DJ Taylor and DJ Brennan and we have discovered we have some amazing dancers across school. The children were also lucky to receive a visit from Santa. He brought them all a gift, which they enjoyed opening, whilst enjoying pizza and candyfloss with their classmates. We managed to raise over £500 with ticket sales and would like to thank you for your support.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

On Friday 27th September we welcomed families to our Community Cabin for our Macmillan Coffee Morning. It was was well attended by parents and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to catch up. This was our 11th year hosting such a fabulous event. We also hosted a cake sale after school for our children, this was a huge hit and we raised a fantastic amount for Macmillan – £392.

School Fund Raising

Over the last year, we have raised a tremendous amount of money that has contributed towards purchasing the following:

  • Selection boxes for every child in school
  • Community cabin
  • Adventure playground equipment for KS2
  • KS1 nature garden
  • Outdoor equipment including whittling knives, campfire kits and gardening equipment

We proudly opened our Community Cabin in January 2023, after months of hard work to fund raise. We had a very special visitor attend the grand opening: Kalvin Phillips (Manchester City and England star). The cabin has been used for parenting workshops, stay and play sessions, cooking lessons and Flourishing Families have used the space to support our parents to cook healthy meals.
