Years 3/4 LUFC Tournament- March 3rd

On Monday 3rd March, a group of year 3 and 4 children attended a football tournament run by LUFC.

The year 3 team made it to the semi final. Mr Robins was very proud of them as many hadn’t played together much in a team.

The year 4 team scraped through to the semi finals and then won on a penalty shootout to make it to the final where we won 2-0.

Every player gave their all and contributed to the success of the day.

There were many, many positive comments from all Leeds United staff who were there watching saying we played with heart, skill and fair sportsmanship.

Thanks to Mr Denny for supporting and coaching the year 4s all day.

We have a very big, shiny trophy that is ours to keep.

Clapgate’s on fire!
