Every child from nursery to year 6 created a ‘hand of remembrance’ to combine to make a giant, poppy on Remembrance Day 2021. The children shared stories, had time for reflection, and learned the significance of the 11th month, the 11th day of the 11th hour. They read the story ‘Where the Poppies Now Grow’. A beautiful and poignant reminder of the past. Lest we forget.
