For the first time ever at Clapgate the Arts Council decided that they wanted to give the children at school the opportunity to create and design their own Christmas card that could be professionally printed in time to give to their families for Christmas. This was a resounding success! The families loved receiving their cards, mugs and key ring gifts. The children created some very professional looking designs. Thank you to everyone that ordered cards and gifts. The money raised by the Arts Council has gone towards purchasing new art books on artists and art history for the art room and we are hoping to get some artists in to school to work with the children.
