Our newly appointed Arts Council decided they wanted to raise money so that they could decide how to spend it on ‘arts provision’ across the school. As before in 2021, the council agreed that giving the children the opportunity to design their own Christmas Card and have it printed would be a great way to allow the children a chance to be creative and share the outcome with their families while hopefully raising money for school. The Arts Council will decide how to spend the profit in the future and will vote to make a final decision. Last year, the profit that was made allowed year 1 and year 2 to visit The Yorkshire Sculpture Park and The Hepworth. Watch this space…
