Online Safety
At Clapgate we make sure children are made aware of staying staff online every day. We constantly remind children how to keep themselves safe through restorative conversations. We also follow the Jigsaw PSHE scheme that ensures children are exposed to ways in which we can keep ourselves safe. As well as this, we use Project Evolve where children are explicitly taught different areas in which online safety is relevant. The children have these lessons throughout the half term to ensure they understand the importance of keeping safe.

At Clapgate, we understand how important it is to keep our children safe online. Throughout the year, children are learnt how to stay safe through their computing and PSHE lessons the different ways in which we keep ourselves safe. In this section, there will be weekly updates on how to keep safe online and what different techniques as a parent or carer, you can do to make sure your child is making the right choice.
